A meeting with the representatives Latvian Fund for Environmental Protection, the co-beneficiary of the Capacity Building Project from Latvia
On 27 March 2018 within the frames of sharing experiences with the LIFE National Contact Points we hosted in the Biebrza National Park the representatives of the Latvian Fund for Environmental Protection, which is the co-beneficiary of the Capacity Building Project from Latvia (CAP LIFE LAT).
The representatives of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 project – Mr. Włodzimierz Wróblewski and Mr. Adam Bernatowicz took this delegation for a trip to the strategic sites of its implementation. The hydrotechnical non-building structures and a technological road in the region of the Woźnawiejski Canal, which were developed within the frames of the LIFE project, 1st Phase of the restoration.
The goal of the meeting was sharing the experiences between the institutions. Among others the problems related to the nature protection and manners of solving them in Latvia and Poland, as well as the legal and financial issues were discussed. Probably in the future it will be an opportunity to co-operate in one of the international projects.
