Extension of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 project
We inform that the European Commission opinions positively our application for the extension of the project "Restoration of hydrological system in the Middle Basin of the Biebrza Valley. Phase II”. Planned deadline for the project is 31 March 2022.

A presentation of the progress report regarding the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 project
The projects financed within the frames of the LIFE mechanism are supervised by the experts assigned to the project handling – the Monitors. The Monitor of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 project is Ms. Edyta Owadowska, who visited our project between 20-21 January 2016.
The LIFE Information Day 2016
On 26th April 2016 we participated in the LIFE Information Day organised by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw.
A construction the tourist infrastructure in the Dębiec range
On the first days of March 2017 was completed a construction of the tourist infrastructure in the Dębiec range, located near the Ełk river.
Commencing the construction works on the dam in Modzelówka
On 8th January 2018 was signed an agreement on the implementation of a task under the title: “The repair of the dam located in km 0+030 of the Ełk river with its completion by the equipment that enables to moving the floating equipment within the frames of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 project”.
World Wetland Day
On the occasion of the World Wetland Day, a team of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 accepted an invitation for a conference entitled the “Marshes and Towns”, organised by the faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw on 3rd February 2018.
A coverage from the 65th Biebrza University "Everything depends on water"
Between 24-25 March 2018 was held the 65th Biebrza University organised within the frames of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 “Restoration of hydrological system in the Middle Basin of the Biebrza Valley. Phase II” project.
A meeting with the representatives Latvian Fund for Environmental Protection, the co-beneficiary of the Capacity Building Project from Latvia
On 27 March 2018 within the frames of sharing experiences with the LIFE National Contact Points we hosted in the Biebrza National Park the representatives of the Latvian Fund for Environmental Protection, which is the co-beneficiary of the Capacity Building Project from Latvia (CAP LIFE LAT).
The LIFE Informative Day – the Conference Centre at the National Stadium in Warsaw
On 25th April 2018 a project team of the LIFE13 NAT/PL/000050 “Restoration of hydrological system in the Middle Basin of the Biebrza Valley. Phase II” project was invited to take part in the conference organised the eleventh time
by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw under the banner of “The LIFE Informative Day”.
